IDOC Regular Volunteer Application
The application obtained by clicking on the link (above) is their REGULAR VOLUNTEER application. However, they do not like to process REGULAR VOLUNTEER applications until a person has "spent some time" as a LIMITED VOLUNTEER. After a person has entered an IDOC facility a few times as a LIMITED VOLUNTEER, then they are more open to processing a REGULAR VOLUNTEER application.
A LIMITED VOLUNTEER is limited to entering a single IDOC facility, and limited to entering but once every three months. He/she gains access by obtaining a Gate Pass to a specific facility for a specific purpose on a specific day. We can do this for you, for example, to participate in our Stateville Saturday Literature Distribution or our 2-Day DADS SEMINARS or FREEDOM FROM FEAR SEMINARS. We will need your name, address, SSN & DOB, which we will then submit to IDOC for your clearance. This process usually takes some weeks, and can stretch out into months.
